2. Luka Doncic

Luka Doncic has turned into one of the greatest players in the game right now, and Kevin Durant said he'd have Doncic running the one for his team.

Last season for Dallas, Doncic averaged 33.9 points, 9.2 rebounds, 9.8 assists, and 1.4 steals per game while shooting 48.7 percent from the field and 38.2 percent from downtown. Doncic couldn't be stopped last season, and this domination carried over into the NBA Playoffs.

Despite battling countless injuries, Doncic helped lead the Mavs all the way to the NBA Finals, and he showed the rest of the NBA world that the Mavs will be true contenders moving forward. No one expected Dallas to win the Western Conference when the playoffs began, but the play of Doncic and Kyrie Irving combined with elite role player play led them all the way there.

Players around the league saw that Dallas could win on the big stage, and Doncic was at the spearhead of that even though he wasn't fully at his best.

He and Durant on the floor together would be a nightmare for opposing teams. Both players are so dominant with the ball in their hands, and Durant is also an excellent shooter off the catch. Doncic feeding the ball to Durant for open threes would be unbelievably hard for other teams to stop, and they would be competing for the NBA Finals every single season.

Doncic has proved that he and Irving are an amazing tandem, but him and Durant would be a fun duo to watch as well.
