Dirk Nowitzki’s latest business venture will surprise fans

Dallas Mavericks fans will have a new must-visit restaurant in 2023 after the DFW Airport board approved Dirk Nowitzki and his business partners to open a new spot. Fans can get a meal and meet virtual Dirk at Nowitzki near Terminal C when it opens next year.

It is still in the planning stages, but the restaurant is expected to serve international foods, including multiple options from Dirk’s homeland, according to the Dallas Morning News (subscription required). It is the design that will draw in Mavericks fans, and the chance to meet Nowitzki, even if it is just in virtual form.

Dirk was in attendance for Thursday’s meeting, and the airport released a teaser video of what the restaurant is expected to look like when it is finished. Here is a closer look.

Nowitzki looks like the place to visit at the DFW Airport, and it is quite the tribute to the Tall Baller from the G. There will be plenty of Dirk memorabilia to go along with the atmosphere. Fans can see the restaurant in the video below.

The restaurant needs to serve the 40-burger and the 50-burger in honor of Dirk. Fans will have to check it out when it opens in the late summer of 2023.

Nowitzki is back with the Mavericks as a special advisor to owner Mark Cuban, and he has been spotted at practice plenty this preseason. Is the Mavs GOAT taking on a larger role with the team this year? Fans should expect to see him at the American Airlines Center plenty, and Dirk will be helping out in any way that he can.
