4. Jaden Hardy

This season is going to be an extremely interesting season for soon-to-be third-year guard Jaden Hardy. During his rookie year, Hardy was a key role player for the Dallas Mavericks down the stretch and turned into one of the best shooters on the team.

His second season was filled with inconsistency with his play and role, and he is now playing in the final year of his rookie contract. After next season, Hardy will become a free agent, and he is someone who could be used as trade bait in the middle of the season if he doesn't perform well.

With all of that being said, Hardy is someone who will benefit from the Spencer Dinwiddie signing, regardless of what his minutes look like next season. Hardy spoke highly during the time that they were teammates, and Dinwiddie provides Hardy with a potential mentor and someone he can learn from.

Both players are combo guards, and Hardy can pick up on different parts of Dinwiddie's game to polish his own. This will be a make-or-break season for Hardy when it comes to his future with the Mavs, and Dinwiddie could help him become an essential piece of Dallas' core with his leadership.

Hardy needs minutes to continue to develop on the court, and he could find himself in front of the likes of Dante Exum if he has a good summer and training camp.
