The Mavericks kick off regular season action in less than 48 hours, but the organization is making sure that a light-hearted culture is being maintained amidst the immense pressure that is the start of the NBA season.

Last week before the Mavericks final preseason game against the Detroit Pistons, famous artist and rapper Travis Scott swung by the Mavs’ practice facility whilst in Dallas for his Circus Maximus Tour.

Scott is one of the most famous rappers on the planet, and he was born and raised in Texas. Although Scott was born in Houston, maybe Grant Williams and company can help change his mind this season.

Popular YouTube sensation Jimmy Donaldson, better known as MrBeast, also made a short video at the Mavericks practice facility playing basketball on the court last week. It’s unknown if MrBeast got the opportunity to film any content for his channel or meet any of the Mavericks players, but it would assuredly be an exciting occurrence if he made one of his viral videos at the Mavs’ practice facility give his vast social influence.

MrBeast always seems to be making new content, and a video with Mavericks players would go viral among the NBA world.

The Mavericks’ staff and players have done a great job of promoting camaraderie and chemistry early on in training camp and preseason, and it’s good to see players getting a chance to visit with celebrities as the Mavericks organization is always doing their best to promote a ‘player-first’ environment.

While the Mavericks will still work hard to bolster their chemistry, they won’t have too much time for extravagant team activities in the near future as they prepare for 7-foot-4 French sensation Victor Wembanyama and the San Antonio Spurs ahead of regular season action kicking off in less than two days.

We’ll have you covered with the latest surrounding the Mavs' start to the regular season, so stay tuned.
