10. P.J. Washington

P.J. Washington is someone who seemingly every Dallas Mavericks fan wanted them to make a sign-and-trade for over the summer, but Dallas didn't show any interest in him.

With the trade deadline being just over three weeks away, the Mavs have reportedly shown interest in trading for Washington. This season for the Hornets, Washington is averaging 12.7 points, 5.3 rebounds, 2.3 assists, 0.9 steals, and 0.7 blocks per game while shooting 42.2 percent from the field and 31.0 percent from behind the arc.

His numbers have declined since last season, but that is why the Mavs should pursue him now. He is a phenomenal buy-low candidate, and playing for Dallas could help him return to playing like he did last season again.

Washington is one of the best fits of any player on this list due to the fact that he is a true power forward. Dallas has been interested in upgrading at the power forward spot for multiple weeks, and Washington would be a great, versatile piece to put next to Dereck Lively II.

Washington's defense, versatility, and ability to score in the paint and from downtown are all reasons why the Mavs should trade for him. He also fits into the Mavs' plans perfectly, as he helps them now but also for the future.
