2. Makes sense: Brooklyn Nets

The Brooklyn Nets are another team that makes this list due to the fact that the Dallas Mavericks have shown interest in trading for one of their players, but this goes deeper than that.

The Nets' guard room consists of Spencer Dinwiddie, Dennis Smith Jr., Cam Thomas, and Lonnie Walker IV, but with Thomas' struggles and Dinwiddie's expiring contract, the Nets could look to upgrade.

If the Mavs' interest in Dorian Finney-Smith intensifies over the next few weeks, it wouldn't be surprising if Josh Green's name is included in these talks. The Nets want to build around Mikal Bridges, and adding an athletic guard to the mix who can guard multiple positions would be a solid move for Brooklyn.

Bridges is an elite defender, but the Nets as a whole struggle on that end of the floor. They need to be looking to add more players that will complement Bridges, and Green's growing ability to playmake combined with his defense, energy, and youth make him an intriguing young piece to add to their core.

Finney-Smith is the only Nets player that Dallas has been linked to this season, but someone like Royce O'Neale or Nic Claxton could also interest the Mavs. Dallas just made a move with the Nets at the last deadline, and maybe another move is on the way this year.
