2. Dorian Finney-Smith

Dorian Finney-Smith is one of the few players who have been linked to the Dallas Mavericks so far this season, and it's no secret that he would like to return to Dallas one day. Luka Doncic would also love to play with Finney-Smith again, and getting him back in a Mavs jersey this season would excite every Mavs fan.

This season for Brooklyn, Finney-Smith is averaging 10.2 points, 5.1 rebounds, and 0.7 steals per game while shooting 43.0 percent from downtown. He has become one of the most consistent 3-and-D wings in the NBA, and his skill set would be a perfect fit for the Mavs.

He would slot in at the starting small forward spot and take the toughest defensive assignment on a nightly basis. This was the role that he thrived in before, and it wouldn't be a massive adjustment for him to return.

In order to land Finney-Smith, Dallas would likely have to cough up their first-round pick considering Brooklyn's high asking price for him. He is an extremely attractive option for any contender, and Dallas landing him won't be easy.

This is the type of move that could turn Dallas into NBA Finals contenders, as they need a player with some versatility and size. Finney-Smith would bring that and more, and his archetype is built for the playoffs.
