1. Luka Doncic

It is without question that Luka Doncic is the Dallas Mavericks' top draft day selection or trade. The 2019 NBA Rookie of the Year came to Dallas during the 2018 NBA Draft when the Mavericks traded the draft rights of Trae Young and a future first-round pick for Luka.

Since his arrival, he has taken the team by storm. He averaged 21.2 points per game during his rookie campaign and was named to the NBA's All-Rookie First Team.

Luka took a jump in his sophomore year when he averaged 28.8 points per game. He averaged a near triple-double that season, with 8.8 assists and 9.4 rebounds.

By his fourth season, Doncic had helped Dallas reach the Western Conference Finals for the first time since the 2011 season.

His resume continues to grow as he has been named to the All-Star game and All-NBA First Team four times. Last season, he broke Mark Aguirre's record for most 30-point games in Dallas' history.

Each season, Doncic continues to make history. This season, he became the first Mav to record a triple-double in the team's season opener.

At 24, Doncic's ceiling will continue to grow. It's safe to say he holds the title for Mavs best' draft day selection/trade.

It will be interesting to see what Doncic does in the next 10 years. What more will he accomplish?

For all the latest on the Luka Doncic and the Mavs, stay tuned.
