The Dallas Mavericks' second-round selection will be happening over the next hour or two, and fans can't wait to see who Dallas will be taking.

Although previous rumors linked Bronny James to Dallas, buzz during the NBA Draft show on ESPN referred to Rich Paul forcing Bronny's way to a certain team. The name of the team was not discussed, but it can be assumed it's the Los Angeles Lakers.

Dallas still remains in trade rumors leading up to their pick, and it wouldn't be a shock to anyone if they don't make that selection.

Dallas is looking to trade Tim Hardaway Jr., and a team emerging as a potential suitor for him is the Detroit Pistons. With Dennis Lindsey now being in Detroit, a trade between the two teams involving Hardaway Jr. may be more likely than before.

Quentin Grimes drops cryptic message amid buzz of potential trade to Mavericks

If Dallas and Detroit pull off a deal including Hardaway Jr., Quentin Grimes is a rumored player to be included in that deal. The Mavs' interest in Grimes dates back to last season, and he could help the Mavs' bench.

On Thursday, Grimes dropped a cryptic tweet that could have fans wondering if he'll be on the move soon.

Grimes' message of "YES CHEF." could refer to his excitement of him being traded to the Mavs soon, and Mavs fans have been speculating about what this post means in his mentions.

Last season for the New York Knicks and Pistons, Grimes averaged 7.0 points, 2.0 rebounds, 1.3 assists, and 0.7 steals per game while shooting 37.2 percent from the field and 33.8 percent from downtown, and he'd be someone who can come off the bench for the Mavs, play hard defense, and hit open shots.

He and Josh Green are extremely similar players, so seeing them fit together may be complicated, but both players have high upside. Playing on a winning team in Dallas could unlock Grimes' full potential, and only time will tell if his cryptic tweet was referring to him being traded to the Mavs at some point.

For all the latest on Tim Hardaway Jr., the Dallas Mavericks, and all of the trade rumors surrounding Quentin Grimes, stay tuned.
