The Dallas Mavericks signed Reggie Bullock to a three-year deal worth $30 million this offseason. The roster’s lack of wings was on full display when they face the Clippers in the playoffs. Bullock is a veteran that shot 41.0 percent from 3-point range last season and can guard any player on the court making him the perfect fit next to Luka Doncic in Dallas.

Bullock has some playoff hunger too. The 30-year-old had played in just four postseason games before last season when he filled a key role for the Knicks. New York was bounced in the first round by the Hawks as Bullock struggled to knock down his shots. It is a small sample size, but he needs to prove he can make a postseason impact in Dallas.

Bullock is ready to get to work with his new team. He posted a picture at the team’s facility on Sept. 14. Here is a look at it, and why the 6’6 wing hitting the gym this early is a positive sign.

Dallas Mavericks wing Reggie Bullock is already putting in work

Bullock posted this photo of the Mavs practice court to his Instagram on Tuesday morning.

The start of training camp is still two weeks away, but that has not stopped the veteran from putting in work. He is committed to getting acclimated with his new team and being ready to hit the ground running in the regular-season opener. The team getting to work early is a positive.

The Mavericks need Reggie Bullock to defend well on the perimeter and knock down open shots. He does not have a ton off the dribble, but he is one of the best corner 3-point marksmen in the league. Expect Luka Doncic and head coach Jason Kidd to find plenty of open looks for the 30-year-old wing this season.

The Dallas Mavericks are going to be fun and full of excitement. Fans will not want to miss a second of the action, so keep it locked to The Smoking Cuban for all the latest news and analysis this season.
