13. Kyrie Irving

The Dallas Mavericks made one of the biggest trades in franchise history this February when they sent Dorian Finney-Smith and Spencer Dinwiddie to the Brooklyn Nets in exchange for Kyrie Irving.

This move finally gave Luka Doncic his co-star, and Dallas ended up re-signing Irving to a three-year deal this offseason. This shows how much trust that the front office has in the Doncic and Irving duo, and I see Irving finishing out his contract in Dallas.

Irving has been outspoken about how much he likes playing in Dallas, and it wouldn't make much sense for the Mavs to trade him as they put a great roster around him and Doncic. Dallas could have a chance to compete for a title this season, and moving Irving at the trade deadline would significantly hinder that.

It would cause everyone to gain chemistry with whoever they traded him for and change the overall dynamic of the team. Just like we saw with the Irving trade last season, getting acclimated to new teammates takes time.

The Mavs don't have time to wait around, and Irving has became a main piece of this squad.

Irving and Doncic have become the duo that everyone expected them to be last year, and fans can't wait for Irving to return from his foot injury.
