3. Kyle Kuzma

The Dallas Mavericks were linked to Kyle Kuzma earlier this month, and although he may not be the defensive-minded wing that many Mavs fans seem to want, he does fit the description of the type of forward that Mark Cuban said Dallas wants.

Cuban wants a forward with some size who can also create off the dribble, and Kuzma fits that mold perfectly. He is 6-foot-9, can create his own shot, and has turned into a phenomenal scorer.

Kuzma can score off the catch from downtown, get to the cup and finish at the rim, and score off the dribble from the mid-range. He isn't afraid to let it fly and would give the Mavs another elite offensive player next to Luka Doncic and Kyrie Irving.

But do the Mavs really need another score-first player in the starting lineup?

Kuzma would give Dallas a third scorer, but his defense isn't great. If the Mavs think his defense could improve while playing for a contender, this is a move they could consider.

Kuzma's descending contract could be an attractive part of making this deal for the Mavs, but the Washington Wizards want multiple first-round picks for him. The Mavs don't have multiple first-round picks to trade right now, but maybe Josh Green, Jaden Hardy, or Olivier-Maxence Prosper being included in the trade could convince the Wizards to trade their star forward.
