5 Dallas Mavericks players who could get traded in the next 24 hours

2. Tim Hardaway Jr.
Dallas Mavericks guard Tim Hardaway Jr. has been in trade rumors for multiple seasons now, and he was someone who was expected to get traded over the summer. Even Hardaway Jr. didn't know if he'd be back in a Mavs jersey this season, but he was been playing great and has solidified himself as a Sixth Man of the Year candidate due to his play off the bench.
This year for Dallas, Hardaway Jr. is averaging 17.9 points, 3.7 rebounds, 1.7 assists, and 0.5 steals per game while shooting 41.7 percent from the field and 36.5 percent from downtown. Hardaway Jr. has been great for Dallas in both the starting lineup and off the bench, but his tradeable contract combined with his lack of defense could lead the Mavs to send him elsewhere.
If the Mavs are going to pull off a big trade, it seems like Hardaway Jr. is a prime candidate to be included in it. He could provide a contender with elite shooting off the bench or even a starting shooting guard who can score in bunches.
It would be bittersweet to see Hardaway Jr. traded, but in order to get better, you have to give up solid players. Dallas has reportedly been shopping Hardaway Jr., but none of the teams that could be interested in him have been reported.
