1. Victor Wembanyama

Last week's rank: 1

Since the turn of the new year, Victor Wembanyama has all but locked up the Rookie Of The Year award. He has since shifted his focus to breaking pretty much every rookie record there is.

With insane stat lines being put up on a nightly basis, the league is thankful they have at least an offseason to prepare for what Wembanyama will be in a few seasons. Fortunately for Spurs fans, the figure that is Wembanyama could be showcased on full display as soon as next season should the team make a win-now move for a disgruntled star.

Since the beginning of March, the Spurs have found success, winning five of their last 11 games during that stretch. Most of this stretch of games has been with Wembanyama in the lineup, but one of the wins against the Suns was without their rookie phenom.

On Sunday, the Spurs pushed the 76ers to their limit in a double OT thriller that took 52 points out of Tyrece Maxey to win the game. Wembaynama shined despite losing and scored 33 points when the night was over.

As the regular season is now less than a week away from coming to a close, the debate amongst fans has begun on whether or not Wembanyama is the best rookie of all time. He has a lot of names to compete with, including LeBron James and Michael Jordan, but even still, the records that those two set have been shattered by Wembanyama.
