2. Chet Holmgren

Last week's rank: 2

After the Thunder's recent winning streak, Chet Holmgren will remain at the No. 2 spot with his brilliant play.

It's hard to beat the best team in the league and the former NBA Champs in the same week, but the Oklahoma City Thunder have just done that. They not only defeated these two powerhouses, but they handed them some of their biggest losses of the season.

Holmgren was a massive reason the Thunder took care of business against the NBA's best, as he recorded over 28 minutes in every game last week. Holmgren not only played in big minutes, but he dominated in his time on the court.

Holmgren recorded eight blocks in last week's slate of games and led the Thunder to a 3-1 record. On Wednesday night, they would drop their first game in over two weeks to the Atlanta Hawks. In a hard-fought battle, Holmgren would only manage to score 12 points and failed to record a single block.

Despite this loss, Chet and the Thunder have been on a roll all season long, and it doesn't seem to stop. The second-youngest roster in the league is now second in the Western Conference and finds themselves only one game behind the Minnesota Timberwolves.

Holmgren and the Thunder will look to build on their most recent winning streak, as they have multiple winnable games in a row. Their next game will be on Friday night against the Brooklyn Nets who they previously blew out last week.
