1. Victor Wembanyama

Last week's rank: 1

Wembanyama continues terrorizing the league, and it's been no different in the last seven days as he remains in the top spot of the NBA Rookie Power Rankings.

After a monster performance last night against the Portland Trailblazers, Wembanyama and the Spurs were gifted with one of their biggest wins of the year. Wemby led all Spurs players with an amazing 30 points, six rebounds, and seven blocks. Yes, seven total blocks.

Wemby almost recorded a triple-double with blocks being one of the stats included. It's only a matter of time before the rookie phenom puts up another blistering performance against another team this season. Fans are eager to see what exactly his stat sheet could look like.

Despite his monster performance in Portland, Wembanyama has been largely a non-factor in his last few games. Things could look different after last night, but Wemby could be in a role fans don't want to see him in.

Defensively, the Spurs standout has been remotely lockdown. His length and athleticism give him an automatic upper hand against any competition. It may not be something Coach Pops sticks with, but Wemby has proven he can defend around the perimeter.

Tonight, the San Antonio Spurs face off yet again against the Portland Trail Blazers. Wembanyama is currently listed as questionable, but if he plays again, we could get a repeat of last night's historic game.

The Spurs will have a tough few games ahead of them as they play the best team in the league, the Boston Celtics. If Wembanyama can repeat what he has been doing all year long, the Celtics could be in for a long night.

The Dallas Mavericks will tip things off against the Golden State Warriors on Saturday. For more updates on Mavericks basketball, stay plugged in.
