On Wednesday night, the Dallas Mavericks got the ball rolling once again by defeating the Washington Wizards 130-117. It was a collective team effort where Tim Hardaway Jr. led the way with 31 points off the bench.

Derrick Jones Jr. even became a huge factor in multiple facets of the game. Luka Doncic found him multiple times off of back door cuts. Jones Jr. even rained in some threes on multiple occasions.

It was key the Mavericks found scoring elsewhere with Kyrie Irving sidelined due to a foot sprain and they did exactly this.

Rookie Dereck Lively II got in the mix with a career night of 17 points and nine rebounds. Additionally, Doncic was able to have yet another magical night as he would post up another eye-popping stat line where he was just three rebounds shy of a triple-double.

While Doncic flaked in 10 assists on the court, he was also making dishes off the court. On Friday morning, Doncic had the honor of meeting with Georgetown University's women's basketball team, where he signed multiple players' editions of Doncic's signature Jordan shoes.

While Doncic has become an outspoken voice on the court, he has also made it a point of emphasis this season to give back to the community and teammates. This was a cool gesture by Doncic, and the girls were appreciative and starstruck by him.

The players for Georgetown also voiced that they love the shoes, as Doncic continues to rise through the sneaker ranks.

The Dallas Mavericks have a huge test on Saturday night against the Milwaukee Bucks on national television. It will be critical the team comes out with energy and aggression against the Bucks, as this could be a potential bounce-back game for the Mavs.
