Heading into tonight's game against the Utah Jazz, the Dallas Mavericks are 41-29 on the year with their most recent win coming against the Jazz at home on Thursday night. Dallas had three days off before tonight's game, and finding a way to win this game on the road tonight is important.

Every game matters at this point of the season, and the Mavs will travel to Sacramento to face the Kings for back-to-back matchups tomorrow and Friday. These Kings games may be the most important games on the schedule, as they could have major tiebreaker implications.

Heading into tonight's game, Mavericks head coach Jason Kidd seems to have found a rotation that works for him (other than Josh Green being injured), but a big change to the rotation could be coming.

During Kidd's media availability after practice on Sunday, he said that they want to find more minutes for young guard Jaden Hardy.

Hardy is someone who fans have been wanting to see more of for weeks now, and it sounds like Kidd wants to get him more involved as well. This comes after Kidd alluded that Hardy may not get minutes this season a few weeks ago, but he has praised him lately.

This season for Dallas, Hardy is averaging 7.5 points, 1.7 rebounds, and 1.6 assists per game while shooting 40.9 percent from the field and 36.7 percent from downtown. Hardy's development as a playmaker has been massive this season, and many fans have been begging for Hardy to make Tim Hardaway Jr.'s minutes.

Hardy actually played more than Hardaway Jr. on Thursday night, and this trend could continue if Kidd believes in him as much as he says he does. Kidd has been a bit sporadic with Hardy's minutes this season, as he was pretty much benched after having an excellent stretch of basketball, but it seems like he has finally won his head coach over.

Only time will tell if Hardy remains a vital piece of the rotation, especially once Green returns, and he has proved that he deserves playing time.
