7. Rotation - Dario Saric

This past season, Dario Saric flew very under the radar as he made his return to action after missing the entirety of the 2021-22 season with a torn ACL. The Phoenix Suns traded him to the Oklahoma City Thunder at the deadline this past year.

Saric quietly put together a pretty productive season for both teams he played for, putting up very similar numbers in the same amount of minutes on each team.

In total, the veteran big man appeared in 57 games, starting 12 of them (all for the Suns prior to the trade). He averaged 6.4 points, 3.6 rebounds, and 1.3 assists per game on 45.8% shooting from the field and 39.1% from behind the three-point line.

At 6-foot-10, Saric is a relatively big body, and while he’s not amazing on the defensive end, his offensive skillset makes up for that a bit, as he’s a pretty reliable three-point shooter.

As it stands, the Mavericks don’t have much floor-spacing at the center position unless they decided to roll out Maxi Kleber at the five (which could be a possibility).

Saric will be 29 years old heading into next season, making him a solid veteran to have on the roster who can space the floor and run the four and five positions.
