The Dallas Mavericks are in one of the most crucial offseasons in recent memory as they try to build around Luka Doncic and Kyrie Irving.

Dallas missed the playoffs last season after trading for Irving, and have to make the right moves to help this team return to the playoffs. They can't have another season in which they waste a year of Doncic's career and have to keep him happy.

7/5/23 - Grant Williams signed a four-year, $53 million contract with the Mavericks in a three-team sign-and-trade with the Celtics and Spurs.

7/1/23 - Dante Exum agreed to a one-year, veteran's minimum contract with the Mavs. Exum was the fifth pick in the 2014 NBA Draft and spent the last two years playing overseas.

7/1/23 - Dwight Powell re-signed with the Mavs on a three-year, $12 million contract. Powell has played 582 games for the Mavs and has started in 243.

6/30/23 - Seth Curry agreed to a two-year, $4.5 million contract with the Mavs. This is Curry's third stint with Dallas.

6/30/23 - Kyrie Irving re-signed with the Mavs on a three-year, $126 million contract. Irving has a player option after the second year.
