The Dallas Mavericks wrap up their NBA2K23 Summer League slate on Saturday evening with a matchup against the Los Angeles Lakers. Mavs rookie Jaden Hardy has been quiet on the court but has drawn plenty of attention in the last three games. The 20-year-old will look to put his stamp on the final game in Vegas with a massive performance.

The Lakers lost their first two games before winning two straight. They are on the second night of a back-to-back, so they may choose to rest Max Christie or Scottie Pippen Jr. in their final game in Vegas.

Can the Dallas Mavericks get their first summer league victory on July 16? How does Jaden Hardy perform in his final game? Here is a look at how to watch and some predictions for Mavericks versus Lakers on Saturday night.

Dallas Mavericks vs. Los Angeles Lakers Las Vegas Summer League predictions

The Mavericks have a two-way spot open after signing Tyler Dorsey earlier this summer. Moses Wright is the incumbent, and he is coming off a 26-point, 11-rebound performance in a loss to the Bucks. A.J. Lawson, Marcus Bingham Jr., and Jerrick Harding are all competing for the position, and Saturday is one final chance for those players to shine.

It is Lawson, who steals the show with 15 points, five rebounds, four assists, and two steals as he helps the Mavericks walk away victorious for the first time in Vegas. Jaden Hardy chips in 18 points with Moses Wright securing another double-double in the upset.

The NBA normally takes a break after summer league, but things will still be spicy this year with the Kevin Durant and Donovan Mitchell trade dramas still to be resolved. Dallas Mavericks fans will be able to watch Luka Doncic again on August 25, and training camp will be here before fans know it, so stay tuned.
