Dallas Mavericks stud in win over Raptors in Toronto: 1. Luka Doncic

The Mavs superstar took over in the third quarter and changed the complexion of the game. Doncic lifted his team from down six at the start of the period to ahead by eight with four minutes remaining. The 22-year-old found his rhythm for the first time this season, and the results were unsurprisingly spectacular.

Head coach Jason Kidd left Luka on the floor for all 12 minutes of the third quarter, and fans saw him once again dominate that period. He had 12 points, four rebounds, and four assists as the Mavericks made their move. The team shot 50 percent on their 22 field-goal tries and score 29 points to grab the advantage.

Doncic fell just one rebound shy of his first triple-double of the season, but his 27 points and 12 rebounds were welcomed sights as the Mavericks offense finally got on track.

Luka Doncic was a stud in Toronto, but the best is still yet to come from the 22-year-old superstar. The Dallas Mavericks have their home opener on tap next as the Houston Rockets come to town on Oct. 26. Expect Doncic to go off as the Mavs try to make it two straight victories. Fans won’t want to miss it.
