Best NBA prop bets today for Mavericks vs. Jazz (Bet this Luka Doncic prop)

The Dallas Mavericks are playing their second straight game against the Utah Jazz, and the team is hoping to pull off another win as it looks to get back into the No. 6 seed in the Western Conference. 

Utah lost the last meeting between these teams by 16 points, and I’m a fan of betting on Dallas (14-4 against the spread as a road favorite) to cover in this game.

However, this story isn’t about picking a side!

Instead, we’re looking at some of the more fun bets to place – betting on player props – for this matchup on Monday night.

• Luka Doncic to record a triple-double
• Keyonte George OVER 15.5 points
• Daniel Gafford OVER 20.5 points and rebounds

Luka Doncic to record a triple-double

Luka Doncic has picked up a triple-double in eight of his last 11 games, and he finished just one rebound and two assists shy of one in the 16-point win over the Jazz in the Mavs’ last game. 

If Utah can keep this game closer (the spread is 8.5 points), I think Luka will have a real chance to pick up yet another triple-double. 

On the season, Luka is averaging 34.1 points, 9.0 rebounds, and 9.8 assists per game, so we’re not asking him to go way over his season averages to hit this. 

Keyonte George OVER 15.5 points

Keyonte George has cleared this prop in seven of his last 11 games, and Lauri Markkanen could miss this game (questionable). 

George has taken a ton of shots over this 11-game stretch, taking 14.6 shots and 6.8 3-pointers per game. He’s shot poorly, (3-for-14, 6-for-16, and 4-for-13) in his last three games, so he just needs a slight upgrade in his efficiency to clear this prop tonight. 

I’ll back George’s usage in this one. 

Daniel Gafford OVER 20.5 points and rebounds

Daniel Gafford could be in line for another big game against Utah after putting up 24 points and seven rebounds in the last matchup. 

Gafford is averaging 11.8 points and 7.4 rebounds per game since coming to the Mavericks, and he’s cleared this prop in six of his last nine games. 

With Utah ranking 29th in the league in defensive rating and 21st in points in the paint allowed per game, Gafford could dominate down low tonight.
