30. Los Angeles Clippers land GG Jackson II

The Los Angeles Clippers round up the first round with the 30th overall pick and draft the best player available. They have a good roster and solid role players around Kawhi Leonard and Paul George but haven't been able to put it all together.

With the 30th overall pick, the Los Angeles Clippers select GG Jackson II from the University of South Carolina. Jackson II has even been mocked to go in the middle of the first round at some points but has fallen to the second round in most mock drafts.

Jackson II was the No. 1 ranked prospect in the class of 2023 before reclassifying and has high upside. He is a solid scorer and is a good ball-handler for his size. Standing at 6'8, he is the size of a big wing but handles the ball like a guard. He gets to his spots and hits tough shots.

He is also a good defender. Jackson II plays hard and is a solid team defender. He also crashes the glass and makes his presence felt in any way he can.

This pick may be a risk, but the Clippers can afford to make one. They need to add versatile players to their roster, and Jackson II could give them good minutes off the bench eventually.
