30. LA Clippers (via Bucks) draft Colby Jones

The Clippers have a massive payroll and should go all-in for one final run with their current group. They have the talent, but LA needs Kawhi Leonard and Paul George to stay healthy to make noise in the playoffs. The Clippers will be one of the best teams on paper again next season, but the teardown is coming quickly with the new second tax apron taking effect.

LA should be looking for immediate impact with this pick, and Jones is a 6’5 wing with a 6’8 wingspan that just showcased a versatile skill set during his junior season at Xavier. He plays hard on both ends, can space the floor, operate as a secondary playmaker, and helps his team win. Jones could quickly slot into the rotation and make an impact when Kawhi and PG13 miss time.

There are some questions about his jumper after he shot just 30.3 percent from 3-point range in his first two college seasons, but the improvements as a junior could be a sign of things to come. The 21-year-old is NBA-ready, and he should be part of their rotation for the next decade-plus.
