The only player ahead of him in each of those statistics that has played more games is Nikola Jokic. The combination should put Doncic in the conversation for MVP, even if the Nuggets star is the frontrunner.

The 22-year-old leads the league in usage percentage, touches, and time of possession this season. Nobody has the ball in their hands more than Luka Doncic. Luka should be considered for MVP this season based on his advanced metrics, but something else will be the primary reason he is on ballots.
