Where should the panic meter be on Mavericks stars Luka Doncic and Kristaps Porzingis?

Mavs fans should not panic. Luka and KP are gearing up to go off down the stretch and win games into the postseason. The two stars will put their differences aside and play their best basketball when it matters most.

The Mavericks are a dangerous team when their two stars are healthy. This season, they are 22-15 when both Doncic and Porzingis start. If fans eliminate the game where the Mavs had multiple players in the health and safety protocols, they are 19-9. Producing those numbers over a full season would have made Dallas a top-four seed.

The panic meter should be sitting at two only because KP suffered a sprained ankle in the team’s last game. Luka Doncic and Kristaps Porzingis need all the time they can get on the court together down the stretch. If both players get hot, no team will want to face the Mavericks in the playoffs.
