Mavericks: Luka Doncic and Kristaps Porzingis key victory over Bucks

The Dallas Mavericks bounced back against the Milwaukee Bucks for a 116-101 win on April 8. They were coming off one of their most disappointing performances of the season. Luka Doncic struggled as the Mavs fell to the Rockets in Houston on Wednesday night. Dallas was quick to return to form on the second night of a back-to-back.

Doncic had it going early against the Bucks. He dropped five points on back-to-back possessions in the first quarter.

Doncic bounced back from a poor shooting night against the Rockets on Wednesday night to finish with 27 points, nine rebounds, and nine assists on 11 of 20 shooting from the field. The 22-year-old was three of eight from 3-point range and lifted Dallas to an important victory.

Kristaps Porzingis touched the ball just two times in the fourth quarter against the Rockets. The Mavericks got the Unicorn involved early and often on Thursday night. He had 11 points in the fourth as Dallas outscored the Bucks 36-17 in the final period. KP capped it off with this impressive dunk.

The 7’3 big man finished with 26 points, 17 rebounds, and two blocks in one of his best games of the season.

It was an incredible bounce-back performance from the Dallas Mavericks. They have won six of their last seven games and are proving to be a force in the Western Conference.
