The Dallas Mavericks head home to face the Milwaukee Bucks on April 8. It is the second night of a back-to-back for Dallas and the first of a three-game homestand. The Mavericks dropped a disappointing game to the Rockets in Houston on Wednesday evening. Superstar Luka Doncic will be looking to lead the Mavericks to a bounce-back performance versus the Bucks.

Milwaukee has won three of their last four games but may have to top the Mavs without Giannis Antetokounmpo. The Bucks are still a dangerous opponent. Khris Middleton and Jrue Holiday are both All-Stars capable of carrying their team to victory.

It promises to be an exciting showdown on April 8. Here is a look at how and what to watch for as the Mavericks face the Bucks.

Dallas Mavericks vs. Milwaukee Bucks injury updates

The Mavericks did not release an official injury report because they are playing on the second night of a back-to-back. Fans will want to keep an eye on the status of Kristaps Porzingis. The Mavs star usually sits on the second night of a back-to-back set. Maxi Kleber, J.J. Redick, Trey Burke, Willie Cauley-Stein, and Tyrell Terry all missed Wednesday’s game and should be considered questionable at best to face Milwaukee.

The Bucks listed Giannis Antetokounmpo (knee) as doubtful for Thursday’s game on the NBA’s official injury report. P.J. Tucker has been ruled out with a calf injury.

Fans will want to check Twitter for updates on the Mavericks and the Greek Freak ahead of tipoff.

Dallas Mavericks vs. Milwaukee Bucks storyline to follow: Luka leads bounce back

The Mavs struggled mightily in Houston on Wednesday night. They could not buy a shot as they lost to the Rockets. Luka Doncic struggled to find his jumper and had a poor performance overall. He wants nothing more than to bounce back.

Doncic has faced the Bucks four times in his career. He produced a triple-double in three of those contests including two straight, but the Mavericks have just one win to show for it. Can Luka stay hot versus Milwaukee and lead Dallas to victory?

Expect plenty of fireworks from the two teams on April 8. Dallas Mavericks supporters will not want to miss it, so tune in and enjoy.
