The Dallas Mavericks are fresh off one of their best wins of the season. Superstar Luka Doncic led the way with 42 points as the Mavs dominated the LA Clippers on Wednesday night. Dallas took two of three from the Clips this season.

The schedule gets no easier as the Mavericks travel to Portland to face the Trail Blazers for two straight. It is never easy to win inside the Moda Center. The Blazers have split their last four games, but it will be difficult sledding for Dallas on March 19.

Dallas Mavericks at Portland Trail Blazers injury updates

The Mavericks listed Willie Cauley-Stein (health and safety), James Johnson (health and safety), Dorian Finney-Smith (personal), and Tyrell Terry (personal) out for Friday’s game in Portland. They are the only Mavericks listed on the NBA’s official injury report.

Portland played on Thursday night, so they did not release an official injury report. Zach Collins (ankle) and Jusuf Nurkic (calf) missed the game against the Pelicans. The Trail Blazers could decide to rest players on the second night of a back-to-back too.

The Blazers topped the Mavs in their only meeting so far this season. Portland used a 45-point third quarter to propel themselves to victory. Damian Lillard had 34 to lead the way for the Trail Blazers with Luka Doncic chipping in 44 points for the Mavericks.
