The Dallas Mavericks have four rookies on their roster this season. They drafted Josh Green in the first round in November. Tyrell Terry and Tyler Bey were second-round picks with Nate Hinton signing a two-way deal as an undrafted free agent. The Mavs are hoping to develop all four players into future rotation pieces.

The rookies were not seeing minutes in Dallas, especially when everyone was healthy. The front office decided to shift them to the G League bubble for additional playing time. The Mavs affiliate, the Texas Legends, opted out of playing in Orlando, so each player had to be assigned to a team. Green and Bey are teammates on the Salt Lake City Stars.

Both rookies shined on Tuesday as the Stars topped the Fort Wayne Mad Ants. Here is a closer look at their performance and what they have shown in the G League so far.
