The Dallas Mavericks drafted Tyrell Terry with the first pick in the second round in 2020. They loved his ability to shoot and his high basketball IQ. Many predicted the Stanford product would be a first-round pick, but Dallas was happy to grab him at 31st overall.

Terry has been limited to mop-up duty as a rookie. The 6’2 guard is still growing into his frame and needs time to develop. The Mavs sent him to the G League bubble in Orlando to get minutes. The Texas Legends opted out, so Terry joined the Memphis Hustle where he has had some big games already.

His best performance came on Saturday night against the Erie Bayhawks. Let us take a closer look.
