The Dallas Mavericks are in the midst of a difficult week. Severe weather in Texas has forced power outages, water issues, and the cancellation of two Mavs games. Hopefully, everyone is safe and warm.

Luka Doncic and the Mavericks are hoping to return to action on Monday. The 21-year-old superstar earned a massive honor on Thursday when he was named All-Star starter for the second consecutive year. Doncic is averaging new career-highs in nearly every category and is a deserving starter.

The NBA celebrated all ten All-Star starters by posting highlight packages from their first half of the season. Luka’s is 20-plus minutes of must-see entertainment. Let us take a closer look.

Check out the entire highlight package below including fancy passes, incredible moves, and unbelievable scores.

Luka is the second Maverick in franchise history to be voted as an All-Star starter. Dirk Nowitzki started two games, but both were as an injury replacement. Jason Kidd opened the 1996 game in a Mavericks uniform. Doncic is set to join five all-time greats as the only players to start two All-Star games at 22 or younger.

The 21-year-old is incredible. He celebrates his birthday on Feb. 28, but fans have plenty to salute already. Doncic is a unique talent that has the Mavs on pace to be an elite offense for the second straight year. Expect his numbers to continue to climb as Dallas digs out of their early-season hole.

The best is yet to come from Luka Doncic and the Dallas Mavericks. He only had eight points in his first All-Star game. Expect Doncic to put on a show in 2021. Supporters should tune in on March 4 to see which captain selects Luka. The All-Star Game takes place on March 7. Do not miss a second of the action because it promises to be full of entertainment.
