The Dallas Mavericks have won two straight games as superstar Luka Doncic is on fire. The 21-year-old has scored 25 or more points in 11 straight games as the team is slowly hitting its stride.

The Atlanta Hawks visit Dallas on Wednesday night in a nationally televised game. It will be the second time the two teams squared off this season with the Mavericks winning a wild game on Feb. 3. That was the start of Dallas securing victories in three of four.

Fans should be excited about the Feb. 9 contest. Here is how and what to watch for as the Mavs host the Hawks.

Dallas Mavericks vs. Atlanta Hawks injury updates

The Mavs have a clean injury report heading into Wednesday’s game. They sent Tyrell Terry, Tyler Bey, and Nate Hinton to Orlando to get minutes inside the G League bubble. Those will be the only three players out for the Mavericks on Feb. 10.

The Hawks will be without Bogdan Bogdanovic (knee), Kris Dunn (ankle), De’Andre Hunter (knee), and Rajon Rondo (back) against Dallas. All four players are listed as out on the NBA’s official injury report.

Dallas Mavericks vs. Atlanta Hawks storyline to follow: Luka vs. Trae 2

The Mavs double teamed and put a ton of pressure on Trae Young in the first meeting, but he got hot in the fourth quarter. The All-Star guard nearly led the Hawks to victory, but Luka Doncic would not let that be the case. The Mavericks star had 27 points and 14 assists in the win.

Expect the two All-Stars to standout on Wednesday night. There will be plenty of talk about the draft night 2018 trade, but both teams have fantastic young stars. Each will be looking to get the upper hand on Feb. 10. It promises to be an exciting scoring duel, so do not miss it.
