Dallas Mavericks rumors: Team eyeing Serge Ibaka in free agency

Sean Deveney of Heavy.com noted that the Mavs are one of many teams to have “interest” in Ibaka this offseason. Expect the 31-year-old to sign with a contending team. Ibaka has only missed the playoffs once since 2010 and won a championship with the Raptors in 2019.

The Mavericks are reportedly eyeing defense and toughness to improve their roster. Ibaka brings both. He is also an outstanding rebounder and floor spacer that can score 15 points per game. His leadership and experience would be welcomed additions in Dallas too.
