Dallas Mavericks: Luka Doncic headlines NBA’s best assists from the Orlando restart

Dallas Mavericks superstar Luka Doncic is one of the best playmakers in the NBA. He produced 8.8 assists per game this season which was third in the NBA behind only LeBron James and Trey Young. Doncic put on a show as he led the Mavs to the highest offensive rating in league history.

The Mavericks finished 14th in assists per game this season as a team. The addition of Trey Burke during the Walt Disney World restart showed Dallas would benefit from additional ball-handlers and playmakers sharing the floor with their superstar.
