Dallas Mavericks superstar Luka Doncic reached a new level in his second NBA season. The 21-year-old put up a historic stat line, led the league in triple-doubles, and quarterbacked the Mavs back to the playoffs. Luka showed out in the postseason including hitting a game-winner that Mavericks fans will never forget.
Luka’s historic first two NBA seasons have come with plenty of accolades. He was the Rookie of the Year in 2019, which was followed up by All-Star starter, fourth in the MVP voting, and a first-team All-NBA selection in 2020. His play has led to Doncic being the favorite to win MVP in 2021.

Doncic became the third-youngest player to make the team. He would have held down the top spot if the season would have ended on time. The novel coronavirus hiatus took away that honor, but it was still an incredible performance from the 21-year-old superstar.
Expect Luka Doncic and the Dallas Mavericks to be improved in the 2021 season. Doncic will be pushing to win MVP as he leads the Mavs to homecourt advantage in the Western Conference.
