Dallas Mavericks: Kristaps Porzingis and Boban Marjanovic show each other love

The Dallas Mavericks were light on big men during the Walt Disney World restart with Dwight Powell and Willie Cauley-Stein out. Kristaps Porzingistook full advantage to produce the best stats of his career, and Boban Marjanovic showed what he can do with a consistent role.

Bobi was asked to do even more after Porzingis suffered a season-ending meniscus tear in the playoffs against the Clippers. He responded by leading the Mavs in plus/minus during the series. Marjanovic is impossible to stop in the paint, and it was a joy to watch him in Orlando.

Boban and KP are two of the three tallest active NBA players. They are both outstanding teammates too. The two men showed each other love on Oct. 16. Let us take a closer look.

KP posted a video to his Instagram story of the two running into each other at the team’s practice facility with the caption “Missed my guy, Boban”. The Mavs shared it for all fans to check out.

Porzingis is rehabbing from his meniscus surgery, and Boban was at the facility putting in work for next season. Fans know Marjanovic is one of the hardest workers on the team and beloved by all. It was awesome to see the two men wishing each other well. The Mavs had a tight bonded this season. Expect that to continue as they make another leap in 2021.
