Dallas Mavericks: Could they trade for Buddy Hield? Will the Mavs?

The Dallas Mavericks will be one of many teams searching for roster upgrades this offseason. They were back in the playoffs for the first time since 2016, and do not want to waste a season of Luka Doncic. The Mavs would love to contend for the title in 2021.

That will be no easy task. The Western Conference alone looks stacked. LeBron James and Anthony Davis will be back with the Lakers and primed for title contention. Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, and Draymond Green should all be healthy putting the Warriors back in the mix. Do not sleep on the Clippers, Nuggets, Rockets, Thunder, Jazz, or Blazers as legit threats in any playoff series.

The Mavs will need to make improvements if they want to be the team to make it to the NBA Finals. Let us take a closer look at the latest rumors surrounding Buddy Hield to determine if he is a player they should target this offseason.
