Dallas Mavericks: Trey Burke gives fans a glimpse of his workout

The Dallas Mavericks signed Trey Burke as a replacement player for the Orlando restart. He came to Dallas in the Kristaps Porzingis trade but left in free agency after the 2018-2019 season. Things did not work out in Philadelphia, and Burke was waived in February. The 27-year-old was just waiting for his next opportunity.

Burke made the most of it. His quickness and ball-handling ability gave Dallas a new wrinkle on offense. He averaged 12.0 points, 3.8 rebounds, and 1.1 steals in 23.9 minutes per during the seeding games. Burke played even better in the playoffs, so good that Mavericks coach Rick Carlisle decided to start him in the final three games of the series. Even crazier, it almost all never happened because Burke tested positive for COVID-19 after signing with the Mavs.

The 6’0 guard has no plans of stopping there. He is already back to work on improving his game, and Burke gave fans a glimpse of his offseason training. Let us take a closer look.
