Dallas Mavericks: 2 current players love their coffee
The Dallas Mavericks made a franchise-altering move when they traded for Kristaps Porzingis in January 2019. Yes, it cost them two first-round picks and four starters at the time, but it set the Mavs up with one of the brightest futures in the league. Nobody expected Tim Hardaway Jr. to be as a good as he has been in Dallas. The trade also brought in Trey Burke and Courtney Lee. The Mavericks certainly hit a home run with the deal.
The goal for 2021 is to keep Porzingis healthy and get him back to the All-Star game. The 25-year-old turned it on during the restart to produce the best numbers of his career. KP averaged over 30 points per during the seeding games, but his season ended on a sour note after tearing his meniscus in the playoffs.
