Dallas Mavericks fans will remember the 2019-2020 season as a pivot point. Luka Doncic led the organization back to the playoffs for the first time since 2016. It could go down as Dirk Nowitzki’s 2001, the first year in a two-decade run of success.

Luka produces incredible numbers. Fans see it every game as he sets a new record or becomes the youngest player to accomplish a feat. He averaged 28.8 points, 9.4 rebounds, and 8.8 assists per game this season en route to being named first-team All-NBA. Supporters know those stats coming with an incredible highlight package too.

Luka is signed with Jordan brand. Fans likely remember his much talked about sneaker free agency at the beginning of the 2019-2020 season. The Jordan XXXV are being released, and Doncic tweeted out a video hyping the shoes.

Fans can get a better look at the sneakers and their colorways here courtesy of Nick DePaula. Expect to see Doncic wearing them plenty next season. He will mix some of his current favorites too. The 21-year-old’s shoe choices are just one more thing to follow each night.

Dallas Mavericks supporters should be fired up about next season. The team proved they can compete with anyone and will improve in 2021. That could mean a deep playoff run with Luka Doncic in the running for MVP.
