Why Dallas Mavericks star Kristaps Porzingis should make All-Seeding Games Team: 2. Memorable performances
The Mavs first seeding game was against the Houston Rockets. The contest turned into one of the all-time great slugfests in NBA history. Porzingis kept Dallas in the game with 39 points and 16 rebounds in 38.9 minutes of action.
The Rockets present a unique matchup. KP is 7’3. Houston’s tallest player on the floor was Robert Covington at 6’7. The Unicorn did well at using his size to his advantage. Fans can see his best plays against the Rockets below.
KP did not stop there. He had four 30-point games out of his six played in Walt Disney World. The 25-year-old scored at least 22 points in every contest.
His best performance may have been against the Suns. Porzingis finished with 30 points, eight rebounds, and four blocks in 36.5 minutes. He was ten of 20 from the field and showed off his incredible skills. KP did miss three free throws that night which was one difference in the outcome.
Kristaps Porzingis put on a show for Dallas Mavericks fans every time he took the court in Orlando. His massive stat lines and highlights are fresh in everyone’s minds. That should be enough to earn him a spot on the All-Seeding Games Team
