Dallas Mavericks star Luka Doncic shows off with multiple incredible plays in win over Bucks

The Dallas Mavericks have struggled in Orlando so far. They had just one win in four tries coming into Saturday’s game against the Milwaukee Bucks. Luka Doncic continues to produce incredible numbers, but it is not leading to Mavs wins inside the bubble.

The Bucks clinched the top seed in the Eastern Conference. They are just playing to get in playoff form. The Bucks wanted revenge after the Mavericks traveled to Milwaukee and topped them back in December. It snapped an 18-game winning streak by the Bucks. Luka did not play in that game.

The Mavericks superstar did not disappoint fans on Aug. 8. Doncic had his third triple-double in five games from Orlando on the day he was named as a finalist for Most Improved Player. Here is a look at his performance including the best highlights.

Doncic did not take a second to get warmed up. He got into the paint for the opening tip and was getting easy buckets for Dallas. Luka was subbed out with 7:11 remaining in the first. He already had five points and five assists including this beautiful fake pass for an easy bucket.

Doncic returned with 3:44 left in the first. He continued to have his entire skill set on display. He finished with seven points and six dimes after 12 minutes of play.

The Mavericks struggled in the second quarter. The Bucks went on a massive run beginning with Luka on the bench. Doncic still managed to put up eight points and four assists to give him a first-half double-double. Here is a look at his passing on full display.

Luka finished the third quarter with 22 points, eight rebounds, and 13 assists on the scoreboard as Dallas was up 93-91 heading into the final period.

Doncic grabbed a rebound less than a minute into the fourth to secure his league-leading 17th triple-double of the season. He had the step back going in the last period.

Luka went to the line with 21.4 seconds remaining in the game and a shot to tie it up. The Mavericks superstar converted both to make it happen. The game went to overtime after the Bucks missed multiple attempts as the clock ticked down.

Doncic did not stop. He had three quick assists on Mavs 3-pointers to put Dallas up nine. The Bucks fought back immediately. Dallas was just too much as the Mavericks picked up the 136-132 win. A Luka floated iced the game.

It was an incredible performance from the 21-year-old superstar. Luka Doncic finished with 36 points, 14 rebounds, and 19 assists against the Bucks on Saturday night. Milwaukee tops the NBA in defensive rating this season, but that did not stop Doncic from leading the Mavs to 136 points in the win. See all his best plays here.
