Dallas Mavericks: Best plays from Kristaps Porzingis to celebrate his 25th birthday
Dallas Mavericks star Kristaps Porzingis put on a show against the Rockets in the team’s first seeding game from Orlando. He got started by scoring 15 in the first quarter and never looked back. KP finished with 39 points, 16 rebounds, two steals, and one block against Houston. Read more about his performance here.
The Mavs are inside the Orlando bubble until their playoff run comes to an end. No family or friends are allowed in yet. The team has been bonding and hanging out plenty in their downtime.
It is a special day for KP on Aug. 2. He turns 25 years old. To celebrate the milestone, let us take a look at his best plays as a Maverick.
Kristaps Porzingis’ best plays with the Dallas Mavericks to celebrate his birthday
The Unicorn joined the Mavs in a midseason trade in Jan. 2019. He was still recovering from a torn ACL, though. Porzingis did not play his first game with the Mavericks until the opening night of this season.
There have been plenty of special moments already. KP was named Western Conference Player of the Week back in March. The NBA dropped six minutes of highlights to celebrate the honor.
As the season wore on, fans saw Porzingis returning to his All-Star form. Expect the Unicorn to reach new heights during NBA Disney. He dropped a season-high 39 points in the first game.
The best is yet to come from Kristaps Porzingis. Hopefully, it is a happy birthday on Sunday. The Mavericks face the Phoenix Suns. Hopefully, they celebrate with a win which would also clinch their playoff berth. Expect KP to go off on his special day too.
