The Dallas Mavericks were back in action on Sunday against the Phoenix Suns. They were looking bounceback after suffering a heartbreaking overtime loss to the Rockets on July 31. The Mavs scored 149 points, but could not win the game. Fans can read the takeaways from the seeding games opener here.
The Rockets going small kept Boban Marjanovic off the floor. He played just five minutes. Marjanovic did have six points and five rebounds including making all three of his field goal attempts. The 7’4 big man was hoping for a few more minutes against the Suns.
Bobi got just that. He rewarded the Mavs with a steady performance and a monster slam that fans have to check out.

Bobi entered the game with 3:14 remaining in the first quarter. It did not take him long to get in on the action. Marjanovic had an assist and drilled a floater in his first minute of action.
It was not until the second quarter when Boban threw down the impressive cutting dunk. Delon Wright picked up the assist. Fans have to check out the incredible play.
Marjanovic continues to put on a show during the Walt Disney World restart. The 7’4 big man is locked in. His ability to score and rebound will make him a key piece off the bench for the Mavericks.
They clinched a playoff spot on Aug. 2. Bobi’s experience could become a factor when the games matter most too. Expect Marjanovic to make an impact in every game from Orlando.
