Dallas Mavericks: Luka Doncic will be rocking new shoes in Orlando

Dallas Mavericks star Luka Doncic is set to rock new shoes during NBA Disney

The Dallas Mavericks need Luka Doncic in Orlando. No player may be more important to their team than the 21-year-old superstar. Doncic is the Mavs top scorer, ball-handler, and playmaker. He also provides rebounding and so much more.

Jalen Brunson being out with a shoulder injury plays a role here too. The Mavericks would have to turn to J.J. Barea, Trey Burke, or Delon Wright as their starting point guard if Luka misses time in Orlando. Combined the three would struggle mightily to match the production of the Mavs superstar.

Kristaps Porzingis would have to take on more scoring responsibilities with Seth Curry and Tim Hardaway Jr. sharing on some of the playmaking. It is a nightmare scenario for Dallas.
