Dallas Mavericks guard Seth Curry is ready to have a fast start in Orlando

The Dallas Mavericks were dealing with some injuries at the time the NBA suspended play. When healthy, they produced some incredible numbers, though. No player was shooting better than Seth Curry. In the 28 games he played since the calendar flipped to 2020, Curry hit 55.0 percent from the field and 50.9 percent from downtown.

The 29-year-old will be looking to pick up where he left off during the NBA’s restart. The Mavericks need his floor spacing and ability to create shots to make a deep run in the playoffs. Curry opens the paint for Luka Doncic and Kristaps Porzingis to attack the rim. Nobody wants to leave Curry open when he has his shot dialed in.

Expect Curry to be ready. He has been getting in plenty of reps at the Mavs practice facility in recent days. Let us take a look at some shots from Monday’s session.
