Dallas Mavericks guard Jalen Brunson has a laugh at Justin Jackson’s expense

Dallas Mavericks teammates Jalen Brunson and Justin Jackson love to joke with each other. The two are friends, but fans have seen them compete a few times. The two produced this hilarious video as they told each other jokes.

Their most famous battle came in 2016. Jackson’s North Carolina Tar Heels took on Brunson’s Villanova Wildcats for the NCAA Championship. Both were starters on their respective teams. Brunson won his first national title in that game. He had a bit of fun with Jackson when the game re-aired in March too.

Brunson did not stop there. He got in another dig on Jackson on May 22. See his tweet below.

Jackson would not let JB get the final laugh. See his response here.

As Jackson mentions, he was the Tar Heels leading scorer when they took home the national championship in 2017. Jackson went out on a high note. He declared for the draft after his third NCAA season.

Not to be outdone, Brunson led Villanova to a second NCAA title in 2018. He was also the Player of the Year. Brunson was drafted by the Mavericks in the second round a few months later. He also played three seasons in the NCAA.

Dallas Mavericks supporters can expect the two to continue going back and forth. It is all in good fun, though. It provides fans with a few laughs.

Looking ahead, it will be interesting to see if Justin Jackson can crack the rotation when the season resumes. The forward has had an up and down third NBA season. It is something for fans to monitor.

Jalen Brunson is still recovering from his shoulder surgery. Hopefully, he is ready for the start of the 2020-2021 season.
