Dallas Mavericks wing Tim Hardaway Jr. continues to work out in Florida during the quarantine. Check out a video and more here.
The Dallas Mavericks have not played a game since March 11. They have been off for six weeks already. The NBA suspended play because of the novel coronavirus.
The hiatus will be approaching a full offseason or longer by the time it is lifted. Commissioner Adam Silver said he will not make a determination of returning to action until at least May. Everyone wants to watch live sports, but health and safety must take priority.
The players are working out on their own. The team facility has been closed for weeks. Some of them struggle because they live in apartments and have no basket to shoot on. The Mavericks have done well getting them equipment and trying to keep them in shape.
Tim Hardaway Jr. is putting in work. He is in Miami during the pandemic. Check out his Friday workout here.

Hardaway Jr. talked about continuing to get his shots up in a driveway hoop during an NBA Live Together chat with Tim Hardaway Sr. Fans can read more about that here.
THJ and the Mavericks will be ready if play resumes. They have a young core that should be able to better withstand a tightly packed schedule. It could be a massive advantage if playoff basketball takes place later this summer.
It is going to be a slow return to play. Players are going to need time to get back in basketball shape. Hopefully, the NBA can finish the season and crown a champion in some form this season.
Please, be smart and stay safe. Listen to directives from public health officials and take care of yourself. Wishing you well.
